Emulex wanted to announce the launch of the new OneConnect 10GbE NIC to its network of value-added resellers (VARs) with a pan-European campaign in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. We were tasked with mailing digitally printed literature to these prospects which included recipient-unique PURLs (personalised URLs).
We developed a campaign strategy which combined direct mail, email marketing and telemarketing to VARs, outlining the benefits of the OneConnect 10GbE NIC, and offering up to 20% off their first Emulex order. The campaign required recipients in a given organisation to respond together in order to qualify for the full 20% discount.
In terms of raising awareness of the new product and of the Emulex name, and generating warm leads, the campaign was highly successful, with a number of new business appointments scheduled across Europe.
